The
new 2010 2011 Cadillac XLR Roadster's highly advanced 32-valve
4.6-liter Northstar V8 engine is so sophisticated it can change
its valve timing along with cam phasing and throttle control.
Cadillac's new air induction system improves airflow and noise
vibration adding to the a quiet ride. As in the Cadillac Seville
the Magnetic Ride Control (MRC) can adjusts to the road surface
and integrated with StabiliTrak. The five-speed automatic transmission
shifts smoothly during tight maneuvers, there is also a manual
mode activated by a tap up or down to shift to higher or lower
gear.
The
new 2010 2011 Cadillac XLR Roadster is stealth fighter inspired
designed convertible, and you can transform the XLR from a coupe
to a convertible roadster at the touch of a button, the hardtop
retracts and stores quickly into the trunk. Cadillac's XLR's
instrument panel is inspired by a stealth fighter and combines
sheer surfaces with new vision of automotive design. The XLR's
Bulgari-designed gauges with a matte finished aluminum trim
add comfort and ease on the eye's even with the top down in
the a bright sunlight. Push the start button on the dashboard
and in seconds the engine starts. The 2010 2011 Cadillac XLR provides
a new level in seating comfort and positioning, the seating
areas can even be heated or cooled to your personal preferences.
The
2010 2011 Cadillac Seville STS and SLS have an
available onboard DVD-based Navigation system GPS (global positioning
satellite) with bright and clear graphics which are conveniently
displayed on the instrument panel. Controls for the Seville's
sound system are integrated into a 6.5-inch diagonal touch screen.
The sound system is a premium BoseŽ 6 disc CD changer. I found
the touch screen to be very user-friendly and the screen features
a light gray background in daylight that automatically switches
to a dark black background at night. There are 5 dedicated controls
along the left side to control the navigation system and 4 switches
to the right to operate the sound system. The entertainment
system will allow you to view a DVD Video but only when you
are parked.
