full size pickup available in 2 trims 1500 2WD to the 2500 4WD.
The Chevy Avalanche 1500, can go from a 6 passenger SUV with
a cargo box / truck bed, to a 3 passenger full size pickup truck
with an 8.1 ft. truck bed. The Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 also
comes with features like standard lockable and lighted top box
storage compartments, and to provide you with power, the Chevy
Vortec 5300 V8 SFI engine. Traction Assist maintains traction
when the road conditions deteriorate. Standard features include
17 inch wheels.
The
2010 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche offers a Vortec 5300 V8 SFI engine
in Avalanche has 285 horsepower, standard in the Avalanche 2500.
Avalanche 1500 4x4 also is available with Chevy's Z71 OffRoad
Package which includes the Z71 suspension, 17-inch wheels, high
capacity air cleaner, skid plates and locking rear differential
and rubberized vinyl floor mats.

new 2010 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500 is the Avalanche
you want when you have a big load to pull. Its engine, a Vortec
8100 V8 SFI, offers more torque than a V8 or V10 gasoline engine
from Ford or Dodge. Standard trailering features include Tow/Haul
mode, and 4wheel antilock brakes. The available trailering package
comes with a trailer hitch platform and a prewired seven pin
connector. Vortec 5300 V8 Avalanche 1500 models can pull up
to 8,200 lbs. Vortec 8100 V8 2010 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche
2500 models can tow up to 12,000 lbs when properly equipped.
All Avalanche models are equipped with a standard automatic
transmission with Tow-Haul mode, and four-wheel antilock brakes.
