There are
two models of the new 2009 Kia Sportage, the 4x2 automatic
and the 4x4 manual Sportage. Both come with a Kia 10 Year or 100,000
Mile Warranty. And you'll find features on both models like the
tinted glass, clear-lens headlights, full-size spare tire carrier
with cover, stainless steel rear sport bar and body colored bumpers
are all standard. There is a graphics package and alloy wheels
available but only a few dollars extra.
The 2009 Kia Sportage Convertible comes with a fuel-efficient
2.0 liter DOHC engine, multiport fuel injection and meets Transitional
Low Emission Vehicle (TLEV) specifications.
You'll
also find on the new 2009 Kia Sportage a tilt steering wheel,
tachometer, front door map pockets, a theft deterrent system,
remote fuel door release, power windows, mirrors and door locks
are all standard on the new Sportage. Air conditioning, remote
keyless entry and cruise control are available but cost extra
for 2009.
On the interior
of the new Kia Sportage you'll find a center console with padding
on the armrest, deluxe cloth seats, front and rear cup holders,
driver's seat lumbar support which is adjustable to the driver,
fold forward rear seat, digital clock and coin holder are all
standard for 2009. An AM/FM/Cassette or CD stereo is
available but again, cost extra.
The Kia Sportage (2009) comes with shift-on-the-fly 4WD
and double-wishbone front suspension. Also the Sportage is equipped
with dual airbags including a driver side knee airbag, rear child
seat tether anchors, front and rear crumple zones, side-impact
door beams and impact absorbing steering column are all standard.
