For
this year, 2010 2011, there are three models of the Toyota
4Runner available. The new models include; the base SR5, the
Sport Edition and the Limited. The three trim levels of the
4Runner are offered with two engines and a choice of 2wd drive
or 4wd.
The
Toyota 4Runner is big, 188 inches long, 74 inches wide and 68
inches high. And for 2010 2011 the Toyota V6 in the 4Runner
delivers more power than last year's engine for exceptionally
good acceleration performance. And a V8 is also available for
the 4Runner for the first time. The V8, an option for all models,
delivers better acceleration than the V6 when fully loaded, but
you won't need it unless you plan to do a lot of towing.
2010 2011 Toyota 4Runner available features include hill ascent/descent
settings to make the 4Runner easily controllable. Ground clearance
is about 9 inches, enough for most settings. The new 2010 2011
Toyota 4Runner will placate drivers who want to stay in touch
with the outside world. You can do so while using an optional
navigation system or a variety of stereo packages. The Limited's
standard CD/cassette package with six speakers and rear controls
should be adequate for most, but there are optional upgrades for
audiophiles and those who want booming bass.
The 4Runner
has serious stopping power, a good thing for its driver and other
motorists if it's out there speeding with traffic in the left
lane.
The
three new available drive trains are the new 2010 2011 Toyota
4Runner 2WD Front engine, rear-wheel drive, Toyota 4Runner's
V6 4WD Multi-Mode 4wd drive with Torsen®2 limited-slip center
differential with locking feature and the new 2010 2011
4Runner V8 4WD Full-time 4wd drive with Torsen limited-slip
center differential with locking feature.
