The new 2013 VW Golf has an antenna that is a roof-mounted amplified
flexible black whip antenna providing better reception.
Anti-Corrosion
2013 VW Golf Fully galvanized sheet metal is the
base material for the 2013 Golf models, standard. Like many
2013 autos the VW Golf comes with a lighting system
similar to the 2002 models. The Daytime Running Lights (DRL) turn
on upon start-up of vehicle, headlights are engaged with reduced
power; instrument panel lighting, parking lights and taillights
remain off. To engage all lights with full power the light switch
must be turned to on position.
The 2013 VW Golf comes with a full size steel spare
wheel/tire, only another VW standard feature.
The 2013 dash instrument pannel easily displays a brake wear indicator,
and has an illumination of controls and gauges blue, with red
indicators. The 2013 VW Golf displays a speedometer,
tachometer, odometer, trip odometer, coolant temperature gauge,
fuel gauge, gear indicator (if equipped with optional automatic
transmission), warning lights, digital clock.
The locking
system of the 2013 VW Golf has an automatic locking
feature (doors lock automatically when vehicle reaches 8 mph).
Dealer can disable feature or program to unlock when ignition
key is removed. The doors will unlock automatically upon airbag
deployment.
All of the
2013 VW Golf's come with power windows with pinch
protection. Front windows with automatic one-touch feature, operable
from driver's side only.
